London Calling -Mystery Block of the Month - Part 1
Experience vibrant and historic city of London from the comfort of your sewing room, through my Mystery block of the month program. Join me as we travel through the city, visiting London's iconic landmarks and experiencing their traditions as we sew this amazing quilt.
This is part 1 of the 14 month program. The program will render a 84” x 86" quilt which can be turned into a king size quilt by adding an extra border. Each month you will get a PDF downloadable pattern with that month's block along with a video lesson on how to put it together, including all the cutting. The blocks are put together with great accuracy and time saving methods using the Stripology rulers but you can also use regular rulers. The program offers unique, skill building techniques that are appropriate for confident beginners.
When you sign up you will get a complete fabric guide and the required yardage, as well as a color chart with the fabrics I used for my quilt. You will also receive a list of helpful tools to have and steps to take so that you are well prepared for the fun ahead.

I was so concerned about matching seams with this pattern, but using the Stripology ruler made it a piece of cake! Pattern goes together quickly, and looks complicated, but it is so simple. I just received my backing fabric, so I only have the top done.
I'm working on Felicity right now, and am confident it will come together perfectly!

Loved using my 2.5 strips for this one. Pay attention to ruler directions. The YouTube videos from Tipsy Tuesday were a great visual aid.
