Installments are invoiced by email. Nothing is charged automatically, and we will always tell you before anything is due.
Cancellation
- Change your mind in the first 14 days? Full refund, no questions.
- After that, your deposit holds your room and is non-refundable — but cancel any time up to April 26, 2027 for a full refund of everything else.
- From April 27, 2027 onward, the trip is non-refundable.
This is why we recommend travel insurance. It is the only thing that protects you if something comes up after April 26, and it is inexpensive relative to the trip.

The journey
Your full route, London to Birmingham
Eight nights across four bases, moving west from London through Bath and the Cotswolds, up to Stratford-upon-Avon, and on to Birmingham for the Festival.
- William Morris at Kelmscott House: where he lived and designed by the Thames
- Fashion and Textile Museum: a private curator tour of Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell's work
- Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London: the Crown Jewels, the Yeoman Warders, the ravens
- The London Eye, a proper pub lunch, and a theatre evening
- Stonehenge: the Stone Circle and the Neolithic houses
- Bath: a walking tour through the Georgian streets
- Blenheim Palace: afternoon tea on arrival, then the house and gardens, including the ground-floor room where Winston Churchill was born
- The Cotswolds: the day's driving runs through the villages, south on the way to Blenheim and north on the way to Stratford
- Shakespeare's Birthplace: his childhood home and the Trust's collections
- Royal Shakespeare Company: backstage for costumes, set building, and the superstitions they still keep
- Festival of Quilts at the NEC: two full days, admission included
- A farewell dinner before the transfer back to London
A private curator tour at the Fashion and Textile Museum
Your group gets a curator to yourselves, walking you through Susan Collier and Sarah Campbell's work from the first painted sketches to the finished bolts. The kind of close look you rarely get on a museum day, with people who will want to talk about it over dinner.

Not included: international airfare, travel insurance, theatre tickets on the Monday evening, meals not listed above, and personal expenses. See "Good to know" below.
Traveling solo? You're in good company. Take a room to yourself, or choose to share and we'll pair you with a roommate so you split the cost.
Adding days before or after? London is worth more than three nights, and you may want time of your own at either end. Tell us early and we'll help you arrange the extra nights and whatever else you need around the trip.

- AirfareThis is a land-only trip. Your fare covers everything from your first night in London onward. Flights are separate, which keeps you free to use miles, extend your stay, or fly from wherever makes sense.
- PassportsYou'll need a passport valid for at least six months after you return, through early 2028. If yours is expired or close, start your renewal now. It's the one thing we can't handle for you.
- Pace and getting aroundThe pace is comfortable, but there is real walking, on cobblestones and in historic buildings with stairs. Every sightseeing stop is optional and the hotel is always there.
- Traveling solo, open to sharingChoose "find me a roommate" and we'll pair you so you split the cost. We'll confirm your match by January 11, 2027. If we can't pair you, you choose: pay the single rate, or cancel for a full refund.
- Bringing a companionBook both spots in one order and we'll room you together. If you'd rather each pay for yourselves, book separately and add each other's name and email so we can match you up.
- Changed plansFull refund within the first 14 days. After that your deposit holds your room, but you can cancel up to April 26, 2027 for a full refund of everything else. From April 27 onward the trip is non-refundable, which is why we recommend travel insurance.
- If the trip doesn't fillThis trip needs a minimum number of guests to run. In the unlikely event we don't reach it, you'll receive a full refund of everything you've paid.
